FRANKLIN—An eight-year-old Franklin girl was watching as her mother sold drugs, according to police.

The mother was arrested after undercover officers watched two different transactions.

According to a probable cause affidavit from the Johnson County Prosecutor, a "concerned citizen" told police that the woman was selling drugs from her Franklin home as her little girl watched.

Undercover officers observed two different deals in which illegal sales of Suboxone pills were sold in the driveway of the suspect's home. The second transaction involved a police informant.

The probable cause describes one sale: "During the hand-to-hand transaction, the young girl watched the deal and also spoke to the informant about her stuffed animal."

The suspect faces two felony drug charges.
