Prosecutor to seek death penalty in boy's death

The Indianapolis man charged with stabbing a 6-year-old Kentucky boy to death could face the death penalty. 

Ronald Exantus faces charges of murder, assault, and burglary. 

According to court documents, Exantus also injured two girls, ages 7 and 10. 

Police say Exantus broke into Logan Tipton's home, just outside of Lexington, Kentucky, early Monday morning.

Exantus entered the home and walked around the residence before the attack, a police citation said.

Exantus — described as 6-foot-tall, 260 pounds — went to an upstairs bedroom where the boy was asleep in his bed, the citation said. The boy was stabbed several times in the head area

Officers say the Indianapolis man killed the boy as he slept. 

There are sill no details about why Exantus chose that home.
