NOBLESVILLE — It's duck season for the Noblesville Fire Department.
For the second time in two days Friday, firefighters went beyond the call of duty and rescued a brood of ducklings.
Ten ducklings were found Friday morning in a storm drain near the Hamilton Town Center at 14098 Bergen Boulevard.
After their human rescuers squeezed into a tight space a few feet underground, the baby ducks were placed into a bucket and brought to safety.
