Reproductive rights rally brings hundreds to downtown Indianapolis
The Women's March of Indiana held a rally for reproductive rights on Saturday at the Richard G. Lugar Plaza in downtown Indianapolis. Hundreds gathered focusing on abortion justice following the latest law passed in Texas that bans abortion after about six weeks. Indy was one of the hundreds of places across the country to hold a rally on October 2.
Abortion rights activists and counter-protesters gathered at the Richard G. Lugar Plaza in downtown Indianapolis for about three hours on a rainy Saturday morning to rally for reproductive rights. Indianapolis was one of several Indiana cities — including South Bend, Bloomington, and Fort Wayne — to host a rally.
