INDIANAPOLIS -- A road hazard caused many flat tires in the northbound lanes of I-465 just south of the Pendleton Pike exit Friday morning.
Witnesses said it looked like a ratchet strap from a semi truck, but police didn't find anything. Indiana State Police Sgt. John Perrine said somebody must have picked it up or moved it.
Around five cars got flat tires because of the hazard.

Police briefly closed I-465, but reopened it a few moments later.
.@ISPIndianapolis briefly stopped traffic on I-465 to check the road. Or were they auditioning to become pace car drivers at @IMS? Both? pic.twitter.com/IPO0iKBnJE
