RTV6 hosted a Community Conversation on crime in Indianapolis Thursday evening, bringing city leaders together with neighborhood groups to discuss ways to address the city's crime problem.
The event, which streamed on TheIndyChannel.com and the RTV6 mobile apps, featured op-ranking community officials, including Mayor Greg Ballard, Department of Public Safety Director Troy Riggs, Indianapolis Metro Police Chief Rick Hite and Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry.
Representatives from numerous community groups were also involved in the conversation and helped shape the topics, which included in-depth discussion of Indianapolis' crime problem, the resources available to fight the problem and how you can help.
We will post a full video of the event in this story either later Thursday or early Friday morning. We will have more details in the story later this evening.
In the meantime, you can follow along with the discussion here.
