Caregivers say Justice is eating well and enjoying his stuffed toys - most of which were donated since his story was shared.
His vet tech says his eyes are the most open she's seen them since he arrived.
Justice's caretakers say the dead tissue has been removed from his skin and new tissue is already starting to grow over the burn wounds.
The shelter continues to ask for tips to find the person responsible and is still offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
