Shelbyville police looking for attempted sexual assault suspect

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – Shelbyville police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they say attempted to sexually assault another person.

The attempted sexual assault happened on Aug. 13 at the Shelby High Apartments.

The suspect is described as a black male with dark hair, between 5’5’ and 5’6” tall, with tattoos. He was wearing blue jeans and a sleeveless shirt.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police at 317-392-5118.
