INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD have arrested 22-year-old Donnie Abney III on Thursday.
IMPD said officers were dispatched to the intersection of Hiatt Street and West Morris Street on a report of a person shot around 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17.
Officers at the scene found the victim, identified as 62-year-old Forrest Tab Grant near a bus stop with gunshot wounds.
Grant was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition and where he later died.
IMPD said the Marion Count Prosecutors Office will make the final charging decision.
