INDIANAPOLIS—Indianapolis police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon incident on the city's northwest side in which shots were fired at a house.

It happened in the Liberty Creek neighborhood, near West 56th Street and Lafayette Road.

The shots were aimed at a house on Liberty Creek Drive, but who did it and why is what police must figure out.

No one was hit by the bullets.

The targeted house is very close to the Pike Township Government Center on Lafayette Road and there was concern there. But it appears the shooting had nothing to do with the government building.
