Silver Alert canceled for missing 6-month-old from Marion

UPDATE | Police in Marion say the 6-month-old has been found and is safe. The child appears to be healthy, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution, according to police.

No details about the mother have been released.

MARION — A Silver Alert has been declared Monday night for a six-month-old child missing from Marion.

Marion Police Department officers are looking for six month old Paris Robinson, described as being a black female, 1 foot 8 inches tall, weighing 20 pounds, with black hair and black eyes, according to the alert. She was last seen wearing leopard print baby clothes and was in a black car seat with purple interior and a brown blanket.

Paris was last seen around 6:30 p.m. Monday, according to the alert. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

Paris was last seen with Taja Ann Robinson, 38, described as being a black female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 187 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, according to the alert. Taja was last seen wearing a brown jacket, brown pants, and brown shoes.
