LEBANON — The Lebanon Police Department reported a small plane down at the Boone County Airport.

A public information officer for the department said a single-engine plane crashed around 4 p.m. Monday onto a grass strip at the airport. The pilot, whose injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, was the only person on-board the plane.

The plane crashed while landing and came to rest upside down.

The Boone County Airport is located on the south side of Lebanon, west of I-65.

This is a developing story and RTV6 will have additional information as it becomes available.
