INDIANAPOLIS — Some roads will be close on Saturday in downtown Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship football game.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers are encouraging people to give themselves extra time when traveling downtown due to the increase of people and cars.
The following closures are anticipated, IMPD Officer Aaron Hamer said:
- Starting at 5 a.m., South Street will close between Capital and West streets
- Starting at 5 p.m., South Street will close between Illinois and West streets
- Starting at 10 p.m., the southbound lanes of Capital Street will close to McCarty Street
