SPEEDWAY — A restaurant that opened in Speedway decades ago is now closed.
Grindstone Charley's abruptly shut down this week. It opened in the Speedway Super Center in 1997.
A town spokesperson said the operator of the shopping center and the company decided not to renew the lease.
Another restaurant is expected to renovate and occupy the space by the end of the year.
