Credit union robbery suspect's getaway car found on fire.

EDINBURGH — Police in Johnson and Bartholomew counties are looking for a man who robbed a credit union Monday, then fled in a car that was found on fire.

According to the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department, the robbery took place about 2:30pm at the Centra Credit Union on U.S. 31 in Edinburgh, near the Johnson-Bartholomew County line.

A security camera recorded a photo of the suspect who is described as about 5'6" and weighing 180-pounds

He was dressed in a gray hoodie, black jacket and a black ball cap.

A scarf covered his face and he was wearing glasses.

The suspect fled in a gold colored passenger car.

The vehicle was found on fire a short distance from the credit union on Tannehill Road.

Investigators are not saying how much money the suspect took from the credit union.

There were no injuries and a weapon was not displayed.
