UPLAND, Ind. -- An entire campus community looked back Monday night on an event that forever altered their university.
Ten years ago, a crash killed five four Taylor University students and one staff member on I-69.
The tragedy turned into a national news event when a mistaken identity swapped one of the dead for one of the living.
The family of the victims were on the Grant County campus Monday morning to reflect on what happened.
The small Christian liberal arts college held a special memorial chapel where they sang songs and heard the heartfelt words of the victims' loved ones.
The campus will continue to remember the tragedy during different events all week long. One of the crash survivors will return to campus on Wednesday to reflect on what happened 10 years ago.
