WEST LAFAYETTE — Every day leading up to Christmas Day, West Lafayette Police Department officers and civilian employees are reading books to children.
"Most of us share fond memories of Christmas stories leading up to Christmas Day, this activity will be a great way to introduce our officers to the youth of our community and allow them to see us in a different light," WLPD Chief Troy Harris said in a press release.
The officers and employees will post the videos onlineand on YouTube.
