5. Fall into fall

Looking for more fall fun? Traders Point Creamery is hosting Oktoberfest on the Farm this Saturday beginning at noon that will feature a hog roast, farm-inspired German food, a biergarten and more. It’s perfect for the kids too. Families can enjoy pony rides, hayrides, pumpkin picking, face painting, crafts and games. They’ll even get to sample the creamery’s products and watch a cow milking in the evening. Take home a furry friend...or two

It's back, and for a good reason. The Indy Mega Adoption Event will bring in over 1000 dogs and cats hoping you'll fall in love and take one of them home this weekend. Unfortunately, animal shelters in the Indianapolis area are over capacity and you can help solve this problem Oct. 8-9 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Adoptions are only $30 and each pet comes microchipped. The part is, you get to take them home that day.
