Vigil held for Clark County judges who were shot in Downtown indianapolis

JEFFERSONVILLE — A southern Indiana community is coming together to support two Clark County judges who were shot in Downtown Indianapolis.

Supporters held a vigil in Jeffersonville Wednesday evening for Judges Andrew Adams and Brad Jacobs.

The two men were shot overnight in the White Castle parking lot on South Street near Lucas Oil Stadium.

Police said the shooting happened when two groups got into an argument. The daughter of one of the judges attended the vigil.

"I would like to thank everybody that's been praying for my dad," ???? said. "Keep him in your prayers and just lift him up tonight as we go through the next couple days, too."

Police said the men were in town for a judicial conference. At least check, both were stable. Investigators said the shooter ran away.
