INDIANAPOLIS -- If you're looking to avoid the crowds altogether on Black Friday, but you still need something to do, the Indiana State Parks are trying to fill that void.
The parks will provide free entrance to all Indiana State Parks with gates in operation on Nov. 23.
The #OptOutside promotion is to get people outside on a day that is usually filled with lines and frustration. The offer applies to state parks where gates are in operation on Nov. 23.
You're also encouraged to take a selfie from a park on Black Friday and post it on the Indiana State Parks Facebook page with the hashtags #OptOutside or #OptOutsideIN.
