MONTGOMERY COUNTY — A 14-year-old Waveland boy was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Montgomery County on Sunday.

According to a report from the Indiana State Police, troopers were called to a multi-vehicle crash on State Road 47 near County Road 700S just before 8:45 p.m. Sunday.

Troopers said a Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Keith Brock, 69, of Waveland, was traveling south on State Road 47 approaching the intersection of County Road 700S. Near the intersection, two vehicles were on the right shoulder of the southbound lane, one of which was disabled.

Investigators said for an unknown reason, Brock's truck struck both vehicles that were parked on the shoulder.

Troopers said Blake High, 29, of Waveland, and Donald Peters, 39, of Crawfordsville, were both struck while standing outside of the vehicles. They were transported to Franciscan Health in Crawfordsville. A third person was seated in the disabled vehicle and was not injured.

Brock was transported to Franciscan Health in Crawfordsville and later taken by medical helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, troopers said. The passenger in Brock's truck, Andrew Thompson, 14, of Waveland, was transported to Franciscan Health in Crawfordsville, where he later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
