BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Three people were arrested after a woman was shot to death in Bloomington early Saturday morning.

Police responded to the shooting of 26-year-old Brittany Sater around 12:50 a.m, in the 2300 block of S. Rogers Street in Bloomington.

When officers arrived, Sater was found at a neighbor’s house with a gunshot wound to the chest.

She was transported to Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital in critical condition. She was pronounced dead at 9:56 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators believe two suspects entered into her home attempting to rob her of drugs and money. Billie Jean Edison, 42, Dennis Webb, 21, and Johnny Moore, 31, were arrested in connection with the homicide.

Police say Webb shot Sater, Edison was in the home at the time of the homicide, and Moore drove the pair to the scene.

All three are in custody pending official charges and arraignment.

Webb was previously charged with robbery stemming from an incident in Indianapolis on Arlington Court in February 2016.
