NOBLESVILLE — Workers from a recently-closed Scotty's Brewhouse in Noblesville are not just out of a job, they're missing a paycheck.

Former employees reached out to RTV6, saying they were not paid for their final weeks of work after the restaurant closed last week.

Jamarkus McCloud was a cook at Scotty's for two-years.

He recently bought an SUV, has a house payment, and there's a baby on the way.

"It's terrible, I can't pay my bills now. I have a child on the way, any day now. It was really disappointing that I put in three weeks of work and won't be getting paid for it." said McCloud.

Lauren Martin was a server at Scotty's.

Most of her pay came in tips, but she is also owed money.

"We all worked very, very hard, "said Martin. "It's a shame that they can't just do the right thing."

Brewhouse Noble West LLC owned the store, but Pots and Pans Productions was operating it.

Pots and Pans issued this statement: "The owner would sweep funds out of the operating bank account, preventing Pots and Pans from accessing those funds. Pots and Pans' access to those funds would have allowed for payroll to be paid in the course of doing business."

"For this to be allowed to happen is an injustice," said McCloud. "I want my money. I need my money."
