MOORESVILLE—New information from the Morgan County coroner about an accident at a Mooresville food manufacturing and processing plant.
The victim of Tuesday's workplace accident is identified as 22-year-old Sean Merrell of Mooresville, a PacMoore employee.
According to County Coroner Annette Rohlman, Merrell died of blunt force injuries after being trapped in a machine he was cleaning that was re-energized before he could get out.
Rohlman calls it a "tragic accident."
