MADISON COUNTY — A 76-year-old Yorktown man was hurt in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night in Madison County.
Madison County Sheriff's Department operations commander David L. Callahan said the crash occurred in the 5800 block of West State Road 32 around 8:30 p.m.
Callahan said Hayden Dillard, 18, Noblesville, was driving east in a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado and when he crossed the center line and sideswiped a 1996 Lincoln Town Car driven that was traveling west.
The driver of the Town Car, James R. Garrett, 76, Yorktown, was air-lifted to St. Vincent Hospital in critical, but stable condition with a multiple injuries.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
