A competitor on MTV’s “The Challenge” who died after her third battle with cancer was surrounded by friends and family at the time of her death.
Diem Brown appeared in several seasons of “The Challenge” beginning in 2006, and later was an entertainment reporter, according to Fox News. People magazine reports Brown was 34 at the time of her death.
Brown had colon cancer, and on Tuesday, Nov. 11, she posted to her twitter account that her doctors seemed to have given up. She vowed to fight.
She died Friday, Nov. 14.
A report from People.com that takes a look at Brown's final days says Brown died just minutes after her sister arrived at the hospital.
Brown founded the website medgift.com to offer guidance to those with illnesses.
