A lawyer in Florida has found a way to warn people to keep social distancing on beaches as states reopen after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Starting May 1, Daniel Uhlfelder said he would travel to different beaches dressed up as the Grim Reaper.

"Many of you have asked if I am willing to travel around Florida wearing Grim Reaper attire to the beaches and other areas of the state opening up prematurely," Uhlfelder said in a tweet. "The answer is absolutely yes. Beginning May 1, we will hit the road here in the state. Please retweet and spread the word."

According to NBC News , Uhlfelder has been advocating to close Florida beaches and even sued Gov. Ron DeSantis in hopes of closing all the state's shores during the pandemic.

"I'm just trying to take all the steps to ensure our safety and trying to get creative about it," Uhlfelder said. "I've sued the governor. We're in court with him. It looks like they're rushing to do this, and it's just too soon."

Since Sunday, there have been 14 new deaths in the state due to the virus, the Miami Herald reported.
