Many of us have a vice we can't say no to, like chocolate or a glass of wine. So, how can we indulge without feeling guilty?

When looking at your favorite things to indulge, choose the healthiest option. For example, if you love candy bars, which of the following options do you think is the healthiest? Snickers, Twix, Baby Ruth or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups?

We asked registered dietitian Sara Scheler of Rose Medical Center. Her answer was the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

“They have the lowest amount of calories per two peanut butter cups, and they have the simplest ingredients,” she says. “Not a lot of preservatives."

Next up: alcohol. Which of these alcoholic beverage options is the healthiest? Beer, wine, vodka soda or a margarita?
The answer: vodka soda.

"Clear alcohol tends to be less caloric," Scheler says.

And for the dessert lovers—which of these options will have you feeling less guilty? Tiramisu, cheesecake, ice cream or chocolate lava cake?

It’s ice cream!

“It's very satisfying,” Scheler says. “It's got a lot of fat in it, which can keep you full for a long time. It has some protein and it's a dairy product, which brings some vitamin D to the table."

The next time you decide to splurge on your favorite treats, now you know the healthiest option of some popular vices.
