MT. JULIET, Tenn. — Officials in a Tennessee county have asked the public to check their Halloween candy after a needle was found in one item.
The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office said a report was filed Wednesday night in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee after a needle was found in a piece of LifeSavers Gummies candy.
A report was taken last night in Mt. Juliet after a mother noticed a candy wrapper had been altered. A needle was then located in the piece of candy. Please check your candy to ensure that it is properly sealed and has not been altered. pic.twitter.com/G1HA9PbJMv

The discovery was made after a mother noticed the wrapper had been tampered with. Officials asked everyone to make sure all candy is properly sealed.
