One person killed in north side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS -- Metro Police are investigating a deadly shooting on the city's north side Saturday morning. 

IMPD officers responded to 3300 block of Carrollton Avenue at 5:12 a.m.

Investigators said a man was killed inside a home. Police said the victim was sleeping in an upstairs bedroom when someone shot at the home.

Police identified the man as Antwan Ogletree, 35. 

Another adult and two children were also inside at the time of the shooting. They were not hurt.

The male suspect ran eastbound on East 34th Street, and police are still looking for him. 

Witnesses told investigators the home has been targeted before, and police have been called to the house multiple times.

A total of three people have been killed in three separate shootings in less than 12 hours.
