FISHERS — An investigation is underway after a body was recovered from a pond in Fishers.
Police received a call Thursday morning notifying them that a body was spotted in a retention pond near East 141st St and Harborvale Chase. Emergency crews arrived on scene and recovered the body from the water.
A spokesperson for the department has confirmed that an adult male was pronounced decease on the scene.
On Friday, Fishers police identified the man as James T. Hughes, 35, who went missing on April 25.
