INDIANAPOLIS — Thousands of Hoosiers are facing power outage on Thursday as high wind moves through the area.
4 p.m. Update:
AES reports at 4 p.m., more than 5,000 customers are without power. At 2 p.m., that number was around 2,200.
Duke Energy is reporting more than 2,300 without power.
Nearly 800 people in the Muncie area who get electricity fromIndiana Michigan Power do not have power.
AES shared many pictures to social media showing what their crews are dealing with today and asked people to not try to clear trees from lines yourself.
Call AES at 317-261-8111 to report a downed power line.
