CASTLETON — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officers are investigating after one person was shot inside Castleton Square Mall Friday night.
IMPD said the victim is a male in his mid-20s with non-life threatening injuries.
IMPD Public Information Officer, Genae Cook, said the crime scene was inside the south entrance of the mall. The mall is closed for the rest of Friday night.
WRTV Investigates has learned the first 911 calls came in at around 7:15 p.m.
Several mall employees called reporting six to seven shots.
One family called in saying they were hiding in the dressing room of a department store.
No one is in custody at this time, and IMPD is working to figure out what led up to the shooting.
