Detectives are investigating a woman's death Sunday on the west side of Indianapolis as a homicide, according to IMPD.
Officers found the woman with apparent trauma around 1 p.m. in the 1000 block of Hardin Boulevard, near West Washington Street and Interstate 465, IMPD Officer William Young said in a press release. She died at the scene.
Additional information, including her identity, hasn't been released.

Firefighters in Delaware County responded to a crash near West McGalliard Road and North County Road 500 West.

A 29-year-old from Greenwood was killed Sunday after driving the wrong way on Interstate 65 and crashing head-on into a vehicle, according to state police. Click here to read the full story.
3:38 p.m.
IMPD officers are on the scene of a person shot in the 4000 block of Hampshire Court, near East 42nd Street and North Post Road, IMPD Officer William Young said in an email. They are stable and were taken to a local hospital.
2:54 p.m.
One person is in critical condition after an apartment fire on the west side of Indianapolis, according to the Wayne Township Fire Department.
Firefighters from Wayne Township and Speedway responded to the fire at the Boardwalk at Westlake Apartments, near Rockville Road and Interstate 465.
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation, WTFD Division Chief Courtney Rice said in a press release.
The American Red Cross is working with the residents in six apartments who were displaced by the fire.

One person was taken into custody after they were shooting at vehicles this afternoon in Shelby County, according to the sheriff's office.
Shelby County Sheriff's deputies were called to the 6000 block of West State Road 44 on the report of a male standing in the roadway and shooting at vehicles, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.
The suspect was taken into custody after a pursuit, according to the release.
At least one vehicle is believed to have been struck by gunfire, according to the release. At this time, no injuries have been reported.

IMPD officers are on the scene of a person shot near North Keystone Avenue and 52nd Street, IMPD Officer William Young said in an email. They are stable and were taken to a local hospital.
Police were seen at the Walgreens at this intersection, but it's not clear if the shooting happened there.

A person is in critical condition after a shooting near the 3000 block of North Colorado Avenue, IMPD Officer William Young said in an email.
Additional information hasn't been released.
12 a.m.
A man is dead after a shooting early Sunday morning near a lounge on the east side of Indianapolis, according to police.
IMPD officers were called just after midnight to a person shot in the 9400 block of East Washington Street. Two officers in the area were also notified about a person down in the area.
When the officers arrived, they found a man who was dead and suffering from at least one apparent gunshot wound, IMPD Officer William Young said in a press release.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as De'Andre Anderson Jr., 31.
