INDIANAPOLIS — A person died Thursday morning after being struck by a driver in the area of 38th Street and Shadeland Avenue.
According to IMPD, just after 8 a.m. officers were called to the area for a pedestrian struck. After locating the person and transporting them to a local hospital, they died.
IMPD says travelers can expect several hours of traffic impact.
