ANDERSON — Two people who were reported missing over the weekend have been found.
Carley Davis, 24, and Cody Bennett, 21, were found west of Anderson city limits in good health but transported to a local hospital as a precaution, according to Anderson police.
The pair was last seen about 5:19 p.m. Sunday. Their last known location was the 200 block of Mill Stream Lane, according to police.
Anderson police say Bennett has special needs.
A statewide Silver Alert was issued Monday by Indiana State Police Monday in connection with the disappearances. At about 3:18 p.m. the alert was canceled.
Davis is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes, according to the alert. She was last seen wearing a dark-colored Guns and Roses t-shirt and blue jeans.
Bennette is described as about 6 feet and 1 inch tall and about 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
On Tuesday, police said they were still actively searching for the pair. An organized search was conducted Monday into the night that included several drones, K-9s and a river search.
Police say they were collecting forensic data from Davis' and Bennett's cell phones and following up on leads.
Anderson police worked with several local agencies in their search.
