FRANKLIN -- A Martinsville man faces a number of charges for causing a fatal accident last October near Morgantown.
On Monday, 42-year-old Earl Davis was arrested by the Johnson County Sheriff's Department.
Davis allegedly caused an accident on State Road 44 last October which left 37-year-old Chad Kepner of Franklin dead at the scene.
After the accident, Davis was taken to Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for a blood draw.
The test showed amphetamine and methamphetamine in Davis' system.
Charges include causing death when operating while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in person's body.
Davis was arrested without incident at his home.
Besides the fatal accident, Davis is awaiting trial in Morgan County in a child molestation case.
