INDIANAPOLIS — With two major events coming to the Circle City next month, Indiana State Police are aiming to keep people safe.

Law enforcement agencies say St. Patrick's Day and the NCAA tournament are two of the heaviest drinking events of the year.

That's why more officers will be on the roads beginning Sunday, looking for drunk drivers. The increased patrols will be part of a monthlong "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.

Officers will also be conducting multiple random sobriety checkpoints.
