INDIANAPOLIS -- The next time you travel south to Kentucky and beyond you’ll have a much easier way to pay the tolls for the bridges that go over the Ohio River.
Kentucky Transportation leaders say they received a lot of feedback over the past year from drivers who didn’t want to have to wait to be billed after crossing the river.
Riverlink's "Pay by Plate” allows drivers to pay tolls online before the invoice is even sent out.
Drivers just have to wait three to five days after crossing the tolled bridge for the trip to post to the system, then they can head to the Riverlink website to pay the toll.
