UPDATE: A statewide Silver Alert for a missing South Bend girl has been canceled. South Bend police said Huda Roushdy, 15, has been found safe and reunited with her family.

SOUTH BEND — A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a 15-year-old South Bend girl who was last seen 10 days ago.

According to the Silver Alert, the South Bend Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Huda Roushdy, 15.

Huda is described as a white female, 5-feet 5-inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light-colored sweatshirt and dark-colored basketball shorts.

Police said Huda was last seen at 8:11 p.m. Oct. 4. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

Anyone with information on Huda's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the South Bend Police Department at 574-235-9201.
