SHOALS — A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for an 84-year-old missing Shoals man who is believed to be in extreme danger.
According to the Silver Alert, the Martin County Sheriff's Office is investigating the disappearance of Walter Batman, 84, of Shoals.
Batman is described as a white male, 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighing 216 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans and driving a red 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan with Indiana plate BFD273.
The sheriff's office said he was last seen at 1 p.m. Thursday. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
