SEBRING, Florida — The man who opened fire inside of a Florida bank on Wednesday, killing five people, has been recognized as an Indiana native.

Police identified the suspect as Zephen Xaver, 21, who had Bremen listed as his hometown on social media.

The gunman has been confirmed to have attended Plymouth High School, according to a Marshall County official.

Xaver called police himself after shooting and killing five people inside of SunTrust Bank in Sebring, Florida. The SWAT team entered the bank and arrested Xaver without any struggle.

"We are working closely with officials and seeking to take care of everyone affected," said SunTrust's Chief Communications Officer Sue Mallino. "We will provide more information as soon as we can."
