Denver police say a dog seen curled up at a sliding glass door in the cold and snow has been brought inside.
Tonee Lawrence tweeted a photo of the dog lying on a snow-covered porch to RTV6 sister station 7NEWS and the Denver Police Department at about 8 a.m. Wednesday.
"What can we do? Called 311 & animal control, owners arent home 5°F #cowx #viral #help," Lawrence tweeted.
Concerned people immediately started retweeting the photo.
Lawrence gave 7NEWS the dog's address, which they passed on to Denver Police.
At 8:44 a.m., Denver police said animal control was aware of the situation and that the dog had shelter available.
