INDIANAPOLIS — While residents of the I-70 Mobile Home Park wait to leave their homes, they are dealing with issues around the park.
Some of the park's residents hope the health department will step in to help them.
"I've been hearing a lot of people say that, friends and family and stuff that have come in here and that's what they keep saying, it looks like a tornado or hurricane came through here," Jeff Melton, a resident, said.

As residents start looking for a new place to live, the mobile homes have become a target to people looking to make some money.
"Getting the aluminum, the wiring stuff like that, making a few bucks," Melston said. "But man, to if you're going to do something like that at least clean behind yourself."
RTV6 has learned a conversation is happening between the the owners of the I-70 Mobile Home Park and the Marion County Health Department. The health department says the oweners have requested an administrative hearing to address the violations, but the specific violations have not be released.
