IINDIANAPOLIS – IMPD is investigating after a person was shot and killed on Indy’s east side near the Emerson Heights and Tuxedo Park neighborhoods.
The shooting occurred just at a residence near E. Michigan St.
Officers arrived shortly before 1:00 p.m. and found an adult male with gunshot injuries.
The victim who pronounced dead at the scene, has not yet been identified.
Further information led investigators to believe that there was a disturbance prior to the shooting. Police say that no arrests have been made but there is no known threat to the public at this time.
