JOHNSON COUNTY — The search continues for a van stolen from a facility that helps senior citizens in need.
RTV6 reported Thursday night that thieves stole the van as a driver for Johnson County Senior Services helped a patient get to cancer treatment.
The van is a 2017 wheelchair accessible white Dodge Caravan with a blue municipal license plate. The number is 54394.
The van cannot be easily replaced, because it has a special, extra-wide wheelchair ramp.
Anyone with information should contact police.
