INDIANAPOLIS — Since prom was canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the senior boys at an Indianapolis high school decided to give flowers to all of the senior girls.

On Saturday, the Bishop Chatard's senior boys delivered flowers and a card to all of the senior girls, regardless if they were planning to attend prom or not.

Molly & Myrtle Flowers, owned by a school parent, helped contribute a majority of the bouquets for Operation Senior Prom Flowers. Donations were also collected to help purchase the flowers.

A mom and her son came up with the idea and helped get others involved.

Everyone made sure to follow social distancing guidelines when they delivered the flowers, the school says.
