Working Together is a new WRTV initiative that focuses on telling impactful stories highlighting the wide range of cultures, areas and people that make central Indiana the place that it is. Through our Working Together initiative, we will share the stories of our communities and carry their voices forward. We’re Working for You by Working Together.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis community is stepping up to work together in many ways to provide comfort to it's neighbors during this unprecedented time.

Invoke Studio has adjusted their yoga practice to provide a full daily schedule of Zoom classes for it's members.

The yoga studio hopes a gift of free classes to anyone who is continuing to provide daily essential needs can bring some much needed stress relief to them. A moment of self-care is not always a priority for those working to keep others safe from the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We are offering 30 days of unlimited classes via zoom to anyone on the frontlines, that includes doctors nurses, mental health specialists, grocers, postal workers, delivery drivers," said Invoke Director of Operations, Jillian McAfee. "Anyone who is out and about working to take care of our essential needs."

It is a gift from a company that has called Indianapolis home for 15 years, to serve it's neighbors who are taking care of everyone else right now.

"The people who are out and about working right now are making a sacrifice," McAfee said. "And we are hoping that this is something small that we can do that can offer them a bit of peace in what is a stressful and scary time."

Invoke Studio offers a variety of classes from vinyasa yoga, mat pilates and barre. Its schedule listed online and on the MindBody app shows multiple class options every day.

Anyone who is interested who is a frontline worker in redeeming the free 30-day offer can email info@invokestudio.com.
