Central Indiana restaurants offering carryout, delivery deals for Thanksgiving

INDIANAPOLIS — As COVID-19 cases, infections, and hospitalizations continue to rise in Indiana health officials are urging Hoosier to remain with immediate family members only for Thanksgiving, as large gatherings are once again restricted.

If you're trying to limit your trips to the grocery store, or you don't want to make a massive spread for only four people, check out these restaurants that will be preparing your holiday favorites for takeout or delivery on Thanksgiving.

Bob Evans

Bob Evans has launched what they're calling a "Holiday Homestyle Hug" for families who aren't able to come together this Thanksgiving.

Customers can select from multiple different platter options ranging from meals for four to six people or individual plates. Bob Evans' feasts can be ordered for delivery, curbside pickup or carryout and can also be sent to loved ones not able to come over.

Some of the options must be pre-ordered by Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Bucca Di Beppo:

The Italian-American restaurant chain is offering an assortment of Thanksgiving Feast options for pickup. To go feast are prepared hot or cold — cold can be picked up between November 23 and 25, hot meals can be picked up on November 25 and 26.

Preorders can be made up until Thanksgiving day.

Cafe Patachou

Cafe Patachou is offering "Everything but the Bird" for Thanksgiving.

All of your favorite sides can be bought for $50 or $85 (depending on size) by ordering before November 22. Pickup is on November 25 from Napolese in the Meridian-Kessler neighborhood.

Capital Grille

The Capital Grille is offering Thanksgiving sides at home.

Fancy it up with Capital Grille's classic American fare.

The steakhouse is offering "Thanksgiving Sides at Home," which features pecan-crusted potatoes with hot honey, cranberry-pear chutney, french green beans with marcona almonds, and mashed potatoes, among other holiday favorites.

Sides serve four to six people for $125 and come prepared and ready to be reheated. Guests can pair with a bottle of wine or the restaurant’s "Stoli Doli" martini. To place a pre-order for pickup on November 24 or 25, visit thecapitalgrille.com.

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel will have a "Heat n' Serve Feast" that serves eight to ten people that's available for pick up on November 23 and 24. The entire meal can go from the oven to the table in two hours.

Denny's

Denny's has "Turkey Packs" ready for order up until November 25. The package serves four people and includes turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce and choice of side.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is offering heat-and-eat and ready-to-eat options for the Holidays that are available for pickup and delivery.

For gatherings of eight to 12, Dickey's is offering:

  • The Complete Feast: Choose from smoked turkey, prime rib, Cajun-fried turkey or spiral ham along with cornbread dressing, gravy, baked potato casserole, green beans with bacon and a dozen buttery rolls.
  • The Dinner Feast: Choose from smoked turkey, prime rib, Cajun-fried turkey or spiral ham along with cornbread dressing, gravy and a dozen buttery rolls.
  • À La Carte Menu: Order any of Dickey’s slow-smoked holiday meats of savory sides individually.

Fogo De Chao

The Brazillian steakhouse is offering a to-go package that serves six people or and catering options that serves ten or more. The meals are pre-cooked and ready to reheat at home.

Order can be picked up or delivered from November 16 until November 24. All orders placed on or by November 24 must be picked up by 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving.

McCormick & Schmick's

This seafood and steakhouse connected to the downtown Hilton is offering an assortment of traditional holiday items for preorder until November 23.

The pre-ordered meals serve four to six people and are $175.

Orders must be placed no later than November 23 and picked up on November 25 or 26.

Old Major

Old Major is an Indianapolis-based artisanal meat and provisions company that specializes in the production of sausages, bacons, and heat-and-eat options.

This year, Old Major is offering dinner for two and a pre-ordered Thanksgiving dinner. You can check out both options on oldmajormarket.com and marketwagon.com.

Ruth's Chris

Both of Indianapolis’ Ruth’s Chris Steak House locations are offering Thanksgiving take away meals.

Patrons can order traditional holiday favorites like roasted turkey breast, sweet potato casserole, sausage and herb stuffing, and creamed spinach.

All Thanksgiving items are available in half or full-sized portions and must be ordered at least 48 hours before pickup, with pickup at both the north side and downtown location being offered Tuesday, Nov. 24 and Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Seasons 52

Seasons 52 is making a traditional spread of freshly prepared classics such as roasted turkey, housemade cranberry relish, mashed butternut squash and a pumpkin pie, among other sides.

Guests can enjoy their meal at home with a dinner box that includes the Thanksgiving dinner, choice of salad, and six desserts.

Boxes serve four to six people for $150 and are available for pickup on November 24 or 25. Pre-orders can be made at seasons52.com.

Squealers Barbeque Grill

Squealers Barbeque Grill in Indianapolis (317-871-7427) and Mooresville (317-834-8888) are bringing back their smoked turkey option for pickup this year.

The turkeys are about $95 and feed 12 to 15 people. All orders must be placed by Nov. 18.
