INDIANAPOLIS — Located on College Avenue, just north of Broad Ripple Avenue, you will find "The Northside Social" restaurant. While Northside Social is the anchor restaurant in the complex, you will also find "The Northside Kitchenette" and "The Nook," which is part of the same ownership group.
Right now the Northside Social is featuring a Low Country Menu with items such as Shrimp & Grits, Creole Ravioli, Pimento Mac & Cheese, and Fried Chicken. There are also fish dishes and brisket on the menu for those looking for those types of dishes. What is neat is that you can order individual, regular meals, or family-style that will feed four people.
For those who are thirsty, bottles of wine and growler fills are half off. The Northside Social is available for Curbside Pickup and through Total Takeout Tuesday.
Tuesday to Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Todd's Take would be the Creole Ravioli with a side of Southern Cornbread.
The Kitchenette is a popular brunch place during the week. However, right now, they are only offering Curbside Pickup Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. So if your weekend plans call for a great burrito, an omelette or just some Cinnamon Rolls keep them in mind.
Right next to the Kitchenette is The Nook. This is your place if the kids are a bit picky and don't like the Low Country food at the Northside Social. It is the same parking lot and features pizzas, salads and pasta. They are open Wednesday and Thursday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
